Mr Daniel is a General Surgeon with an interest and tarining in colorectal surgery. Originally from Tasmania, he graduated from University of Tasmania in 2006 with First Class Honours and completed his training in General Surgery in Melbourne in 2013.
He subsequently entered four years of sub-specialist training in Colorectal surgery and is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
He has public appointments at Northern Health and Monash Health, and private appointments at Northern Private Hospital, Warringal Private Hospital and John Fawkner Hospital.
His interest includes diseases of the small and large bowel, colonoscopy, proctology and minimally invasive surgery. He takes a keen role in the training of future surgeons and is the supervisor of Junior Medical Officers in Surgery at Northern Health.
