Priya completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Institute of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Chennai, India.
Priya moved to Australia in 2009 and pursued her advanced training in O&G across various health services in Victoria, primarily at Eastern Health. She was subsequently awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG).
Priya currently holds Gynaecologist appointments at Northern Hospital and Sunshine Hospital, Melbourne.
Priya is actively engaged in teaching and training next generation of Doctors in O&G. She is a RANZCOG accredited training supervisor for junior doctors undertaking diploma in the field. She strongly believes in the importance of specialists maintaining and growing their knowledge and skills through continual professional development.
In her free time, Priya enjoys the outdoors and takes great pleasure in losing a game of tennis with her son.

Menstrual disorders– Caused by Fibroids, adenomyosis or dysfunctional bleeding
Prolapse and incontinence issues– Priya offers pessary insertion, medical management for incontinence and various surgical procedures to treat the condition.
Abnormal pap smear– evaluation with colposcopy and LLETZ procedure.
PCOS ( Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)– causes irregular periods, hirsutism, acne, ovulation problem, and insulin resistance.
