Jae was born and educated in Adelaide, completing his Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2011 followed by internship and resident surgical training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital respectively. He was then accepted onto the Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon Scientist training program under the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons with funding and support from the Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Foundation with an Academic Surgeon-Scientist Research Scholarship.

Dr Vivek Mutha s an experienced Cardiologist and Lecturer at the University of Melbourne, with a clinical interest in arrhythmia. His basic physician training was completed at Monash Health. Thereafter he completed cardiology training at Northern Hospital, Austin Health and Ballarat. He then went on to complete further training in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing at Monash Health learning complex electrophysiology and device implantation.

Dr. Radha Nair is a General Surgeon based in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. His clinical interests include breast, thyroid, colorectal, hernia, gallbladder disease, skin cancers, hand surgeries, and endoscopy. Dr Nair is dedicated to delivering quality, patient-centered care across these specialties. Dr. Nair has extensive experience in leadership roles within both academic and surgical contexts, having worked in rural and regional areas across Australia and New Zealand. His involvement in these regions underscores his commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and outcomes in underserved communities. Radha is an active member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (RACS) and engages in various RACS committees. He also mentors surgical trainees and serves as a supervisor for colonoscopy and gastroscopy procedures. Additionally, Dr. Nair acts as an examiner for the Surgical Education and Training (SET) program, further contributing to the education of future surgeons.

Dr. Binh T Nguyen is a general surgeon who has an interest in breast and thyroid disease. Dr Nguyen trained in Melbourne, Australia and he completed his medical degree through The University of Melbourne. Having completed his MBBS through Melbourne University, he then went on to do his residency and surgical registrar training through various hospitals within Victoria, the Northern Territory and Tasmania.

Graduating from The University of Melbourne, Wei Ming attained fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeon (RACS) through Austin Health. 

Dr Parthasarathy completed her medical degree at Monash University, graduating with first class honours in 2009.  She was the dux of her clinical school, winning the Monash Health Board of Management Prize as well as other awards during her undergraduate training. 

Dr Pianta is a Nephrologist by training, He obtained his PhD examining diagnostic tests for acute kidney injury (AKI) and delayed graft function (DGF) leading and collaborating in clinical and animal studies. He has also conducted collaborative clinical research examining systemic complications of chronic kidney disease (CKD) including myocardial ischaemia and neurological disease including RCTs and observational studies. These nationwide collaborations continue.

Dr Larry Ponnuthurai is the Deputy Director of Cardiology at Northern Hospital and leads the Interventional Unit and Coronary Care Unit.

Northern Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Kaushikkumar (Kaushik) Prajapati, a general physician. Kaushik has a Fellowship of RACP (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) in internal medicine and has a Master of Perioperative Medicine from Monash University.
