Mr Ramanjeet Sethi (Raman) is a Melbourne based Victorian-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with depth of knowledge and experience. He offers skills in Foot and Ankle surgery, Robotic Knee and Hip Replacement and General Orthopaedic Trauma. Trained in Australia, He provides a comprehensive lower limb service treating Traumatic and degenerative conditions of Foot & Ankle, Knee and Hip. He is also experienced to use Robotic technology for Total Knee and Hip Replacement.
He became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association after completing Orthopaedic Training Program across Metropolitan Melbourne and Rural Victorian Hospitals. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from prestigious institutes affiliated with University of Delhi in India prior to that.
Raman is actively involved in teaching and research through his public appointment at Northern Health. He has a strong academic background having published and presented in international meetings and held teaching positions to train registrars, medical students and allied health professionals.
Restoring function and relieving pain from orthopaedic conditions is his passion. He believes in providing highly personalised care, ensuring every one of his patients has a thorough understanding of their condition and available treatment options.
Dr Sharma completed his cardiology training at the Northern Hospital. He then under took a one year fellowship in intervention cardiology followed by a second fellowship in cardiac imaging at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne.
Dr Sharma has extensive experience in cardiology including general cardiology, valvular heart disease and all aspects of echocardiography (trans thoracic, transoesophageal, 3D/4 D, contrast and stress echocardiography). He has an interest in heart failure.
Dr Sharma currently holds a public appointment at the Northern Hospital consulting in heart failure and imaging (echo).
His academic interest includes the supervision and training of advanced trainees in cardiology.
Dr Sharma has also participated in research at the Northern Hospital and is a co-investigator in multinational trials.

Dr Sharma is a Geriatrician with a particular clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of dementia, stroke & vascular cognitive impairment, falls prevention in the elderly, osteoporosis management and providing holistic care for elderly patients with complex medical issues.
After graduating in 2004, Sandeep completed his advanced training at the Austin, Western and Northern Hospitals.
Dr Sharma has worked across many clinics including Continence, Stroke, Endocrinology and Falls and Balance. Dr Sharma has an extensive knowledge of the basic medical and surgical fields required for the varied needs of the elderly population. He is able to rapidly develop a rapport with patients, families, nursing staff and allied health care professionals alike.

Prior to 2015, Dr Sheard served as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Townsville University Hospital. After graduating with honours from University College London in 1995, Dr Sheard joined the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1999 and completed his Tr.& Orth fellowship in 2004.
He completed two six-month fellowships at the world renowned, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London in the joint reconstruction unit and spinal unit. He then gained fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2020.
Dr Sheard keeps his skills up to date by attending professional development programs and courses. He enjoys mentoring and teaching the new generation of trainee orthopaedic surgeons.

His academic ability has earned him multiple awards and prizes, including the Arthur Edward Burton Memorial Prize in 2004. He has been published in peer reviewed journals including the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and the Journal of Thrombosis and Haematosis.
In the UK, Dr Sheard treated high-profile sporting clients and gave regular interviews, for TV, radio and news media.
Dr Rizwan Sheikh is a Plastic Surgeon based in Melbourne. Rizwan performs cosmetic and reconstructive surgery comprising of breast reconstruction, perineal reconstruction, body contouring surgery followingsignificant weight loss, and hand surgery. Dr. Sheikh is double board certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He holds the titles of Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) and Fellow of the College of Plastic Surgeons of South Africa. Dr Rizwan Sheikh serves as the Clinical Lead for pelvic reconstructions at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, performing complex reconstructions for patients undergoing extensive resections due to cancer surgery.
Dr Sheikh is a multilingual professional fluent in English, Urdu, Hindi and Swahili which allows him to connect with a diverse range of patients and provide culturally sensitive care.
Dr Sidhu is a General Surgeon who has an interest in the treatment of all areas of Colorectal Surgery including bowel cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, rectal bleeding, haemorrhoids, hernias and gall bladder disease. Dr Sidhu is GESA accredited to perform both gastroscopies and colonoscopies. He is an advanced laparoscopic surgeon who practices minimally invasive surgery.
Dr Sidhu completed his medical degree from the University of Melbourne in 2008. He completed his General Surgery training and became the Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2017. He underwent 4 years of further training in colorectal surgery and is a member of the Colorectal Surgery Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ).
Dr Sidhu has keen interest in research, teaching and advocacy. He is well published in various national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has held clinical lecturer positions at University of New South Wales and University of Tasmania. He has previously held positions as the trainee representative on the Australian Board of General Surgery and Colorectal Surgery Society of Australia and New Zealand.
Outside of work Dr Sidhu loves to spend time with his young family. He likes to keep fit by running and playing tennis. He loves to cook and is an avid Sydney Swans supporter.
Dr Anita Singh completed her Training at Austin Health, Western and University Hospital Geelong. Dr Anita Singh is a consultant Endocrinologist at Northern Health and Western Health.
Dr Pras Sivam (Prassannah Satasivam) holds both a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and membership of the Society of Urologic Oncology. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Melbourne and currently serves as Urology Training Supervisor and Research Lead at Northern Health. Pras grew up in Melbourne and graduated from Haileybury College as Dux of the School in 1998. He joined the University of Melbourne Medical School with a tertiary entrance rank of 99.95. After completing his postgraduate surgical training in Victoria, he accepted a prestigious Fellowship in Urologic Oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. This gave him formal training under recognised world leaders in the field of urologic oncology.
Pras offers general urologic services with a subspecialty interest in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery for urological cancers. He has access to public hospital waiting lists at the Northern Hospital and Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Associate Professor Siddharth Sood is the Inaugural Head of Hepatology at Northern Health, and former Head of Hepatology at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He has a PhD in immune function before and after liver transplantation from the University of Melbourne and the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit at Austin Health. He has an interest in autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis management and HCC. Siddharth consults at Northern Private Hospital in Epping and performs Endoscopy procedures (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) at Northern Private Hospital (Epping) and Victorian Day Procedure Centre (Heidelburg).
After graduating top of his surgical class in medical school, Dr Sugrue completed his specialist training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery across Australia, Ireland, and the UK. In 2021, he undertook a fellowship in Plastic Surgery under the mentorship of Mr. Damien Grinsell at Horizon Plastic Surgery. He subsequently advanced his career in Adelaide before now returning to Melbourne.
He holds fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Plast), the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (FRCS Plast), and the European Board of Hand Surgery (FEBHS), and is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
