Dr Parthasarathy completed her medical degree at Monash University, graduating with first class honours in 2009. She was the dux of her clinical school, winning the Monash Health Board of Management Prize as well as other awards during her undergraduate training.
Dr Parthasarathy completed her basic physician training at Monash Health before undertaking advanced training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Austin Hospital, Northern Hospital and Box Hill Hospital. During this time, she was exposed to a wide spectrum of gastroenterological conditions and endoscopic procedures. She went on to complete a fellowship in Inflammatory Bowel Disease at Box Hill Hospital, gaining further expertise in the management of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Dr Parthasarathy welcomes referrals in all aspects of gastroenterology including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, coeliac disease, fatty liver, iron deficiency anaemia, gastrointestinal bleeding, polyp surveillance and bowel cancer screening. She regularly attends national and international conferences to keep up to date on the latest developments in the field.
In addition to her private practice, Dr Parthasarathy is a consultant Gastroenterologist at Northern Health.
