Mr Sudheshan Sundaralingam is a general urologist with an interest in the management of prostate, renal tract stone diseases and Genito urinary cancers. He holds tertiary public teaching hospital appointments as a Consultant Urologist at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Northern Health. 

Sudheshan is competent in all aspects of urological surgery and offers endoscopic services and open / laparoscopic / robotic urological procedures. His advanced training in urology was undertaken in multiple elite urological centres in Melbourne and Sydney. He works very closely in a multi-disciplinary team which includes oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, physiotherapists, sexual health specialists and continence specialists to provide optimal care for the urological patient.

• Treatments for kidney, bladder and prostate cancer
• Endoscopic stone surgery
• Extra corporeal shock wave lithotripsy
• Percutaneous nephrolithitomy (PCNL) – for large renal stones
• Laparoscopic urological procedures
• Photoselective vaporization of the prostate (Green light laser)
• Transperineal template biopsies of the prostate
• Treatment for urethral stricture disease
• Robot assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy

Sudheshan is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and a members of Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand subscribes to the values and highest standards espoused by the college. He regularly attends local and international conferences on urological surgery to update his knowledge and enhance his skills in order to offer state of the art care to his patients.
