Dr. Al-Bermani completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours and a postgraduate Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Queensland. His training included roles across New Zealand and Queensland, ultimately leading to a robotic and laparoscopic fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital and the Queensland Robotic Surgery Unit at Greenslopes Hospital in 2018. He was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019.
Dr. Al-Bermani further specialised in upper-tract surgery at the Bristol Urological Institute in the UK, an ERUS-accredited centre of excellence. He then completed an additional fellowship in robotic pelvic uro-oncology at University College Hospital
London.
Dr. Al-Bermani honed his advanced robotic surgical skills and later mentored the next generation of fellows. In recognition of his achievements
in uro-oncology and robotic surgery, he is a member of the International Postgraduate Deanery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr. Al-Bermani’s interests include robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques to treat benign and malignant conditions. HIs practice is built upon an unwavering commitment to excellence.
