Mr Kamran Ettehadi is an orthopaedic surgeon with an interest in foot and ankle surgery, sports injuries, trauma, and lower limb reconstruction, including robotic assisted (MAKO) knee replacement.
He has completed advanced fellowship training in Australia, Spain, Switzerland, and South Africa, gaining extensive experience in managing complex deformities, revision surgeries, and sports-related injuries through evidence-based, function-preserving techniques. Kamran has an interest in complex foot and ankle conditions, such as paediatric flatfoot, adult congenital deformities, tendon disorders, and ankle arthritis.
He also performs primary hip and knee arthroplasties and has a selective interest in total ankle arthroplasty for patients with end-stage ankle arthritis. In his public appointments at Northern Health and Wonthaggi Hospital,
Kamran contributes to the trauma service and actively mentors’ orthopaedic registrars. He is available for consultations and tailored orthopaedic management at the Northern Orthopaedic Group which is located at Northern Private Hospital.
He welcomes urgent and routine referrals from GPs and accepts WorkCover and TAC referrals, providing independent medico-legal assessments for injured patients..
